Chalk and Wire (Anthology) Support

ACCESSING CHALK AND WIRE

1. To access Anthology (Chalk & Wire) go to https://a.chalkandwire.com/default.aspx 

2. Once at this screen, type in 'Kean'.

3. You will then be prompted to login using your username and password.

   • If you forgot your password or don't know what it is, you can select 'forgot your password'.

   • Since you already have an account, do not select 'NEW USERS REGISTER HERE'. 

   • You will receive an email once you indicate you forgot your password prompting you to choose a password of your choosing.

4. You will be brought to the main dashboard for Chalk & Wire.

If your account is expired, please email coepo@kean.edu for assistance. Please put 'chalk and wire account renewal' in the subject line. Note: an expired account will prevent you from being able to access pending assessments and assignments.

Placement Confirmation: Within Anthology (Chalk & Wire), candidates are associated with a cooperating teacher through the placement process. Once this relationship is confirmed and added into Anthology, candidates will receive an email confirming the details of the placement including: 

• Start Date

• End Date

• Semester

• Time in the Classroom

In addition to being able to view information related to the placement itself, candidate's can also view pending assessments. For the College of Education, this includes a Clinical Competency Inventory (CCI) and Disposition Assessment for Clinical I, and a midterm and final Clinical Competency Inventory (CCI) and Disposition Assessment for Clinical II. 

Completing Assessments: Each cooperating teacher is responsible for completing a series of assessments. Assessments are launched automatically and will be sent directly to the email on file. 

For students in Clinical I - Cooperating Teachers Complete:

• Critical Competency Inventory (CCI)

• Disposition Assessment

For students in Clinical II - Cooperating Teachers Complete:

• Critical Competency Inventory (CCI) midterm and final

• Disposition Assessment midterm and final

Students will be able to view their results upon submission.
